We photographed Natalie Stuart, a contemporary textile artist and illustrator based in Portland, Oregon, to create updated branding imagery that highlights both her work and the creative process behind it.

Natalie’s art weaves together color, texture, and storytelling, often reimagining traditional techniques like embroidery and crochet through a modern lens. Her pieces blend craft and illustration, bringing tactile materials into contemporary visual narratives.

The session took place in Natalie’s home, allowing us to photograph her work in a natural, lived-in environment that reflects how the pieces exist within real spaces. We styled and photographed her artwork throughout different areas of the home—capturing a mix of portraits, lifestyle moments, and detailed images of the textiles themselves. The result is a collection of images designed to showcase both the artist and the art, supporting Natalie’s brand across her website, press features, and marketing materials.
