Risse and Matt’s engagement session took place on a private waterfront property and unfolded in a way that felt easy and true to them. We began with flat lays on the beach, then moved to the lake for portraits along the shoreline. Risse wore a sequined beach dress that caught the light beautifully, even under the soft, cloudy sky. From there, we headed to a private dock, stepped onto their family boat, and popped some champagne! Right before we wrapped up, the clouds parted and the sun broke through for the perfect sunset!
