The weekend began at Manor 1858 with an intimate rehearsal dinner and welcome party layered in candlelight and vintage charm — the perfect prelude to what was to come.

The following day, the entire celebration unfolded at Glenstone Gardens, one of the most romantic garden wedding venues in Virginia. Inspired by Katie’s love of thrifting and vintage fashion, the aesthetic leaned “grandma chic” — collected textures, heirloom-inspired rentals, and a delicate escort wall made entirely of doilies. Eight nieces and nephews served as flower girls and ring bearers, bringing joyful energy to an outdoor ceremony framed by lush florals that blended seamlessly into the surrounding gardens. Guests enjoyed oysters and elevated hors d’oeuvres on the lawn before walking through the gardens to a tented reception filled with serpentine tables and layered, thoughtful design.

As the sun set, the tent came alive. The Jordan Kahn Orchestra kept the dance floor packed — and just when it felt like the night had peaked, guests discovered a hidden after-party behind the tent, draped in green and silver with playful vintage lounge rentals and late-night fried chicken passed around as everyone danced.
