Grace and Maxwell’s Meridian House wedding in Washington DC was the ultimate mix of romance, rebellion, and high style. Celebrated over Valentine’s Day weekend, the day began at the Riggs Hotel Pink Room—perfectly on theme for Grace, who loves all things pink.
Their ceremony and reception at the historic Meridian House embraced the holiday with bold, unexpected details. After vows, guests discovered an old-school library transformed into a whiskey lounge, complete with double roulette tables for a playful edge. Later in the night, Grace changed into a sparkly gold dress with gold Gucci platform heels, setting the tone for the after-party. A churro bar replaced the traditional cake, while their pups, Peroni and Spritz, made a chic appearance as custom cutouts.
“They had a magical way of making us feel like our most authentic selves while guiding us to look our absolute best”
Calling her "just a photographer" would be a massive understatement. She's genuinely someone you WANT to spend one of the most important days of your life with. Her positive energy is infectious, her ability to make everyone feel comfortable is remarkable, and her talent behind the camera is unmatched. The morning after our wedding, my phone was buzzing with messages from family and friends specifically raving about how awesome Angelika was. And when we received our photos? They exceeded all expectations—even better than my Pinterest inspo board! Angelika understood exactly what we wanted and delivered above and beyond.
