Hi friends!

I’ve been mulling over this for a while and after many sweet email requests asking if I offered one-on-one’s I decided to start offering mentoring sessions!  I had A LOT of questions and A LOT of help when I started out, and I understand how difficult that place can be. If I had taken the plunge and invested in a mentoring session from the get go I could’ve figured things out a whole lot faster, and am hoping I can help out others through these one-on-one sessions. Here are details about mentoring sessions with me Q&A style:

What is an AJP mentoring session? An AJP mentoring session is an individual session with me where we will sit down and discuss anything you would like! Topics range from shooting, editing, blogging, social media, lighting, workflow, and so much more! I’m seriously an open book. The several hours we spend together will be completely catered to your personal needs and goals as a photographer, entrepreneur, or beginner!

What’s included in an AJP mentoring session? Every Mentoring Session is uniquely designed, however most generally include Q&A, a walk-through of my workflow and editing, new headshots, website critique and more! If you would like to see how I work at a live shoot (how I pose, direct, place my subjects according to light, etc), then we can add that on as well at a second package price. Email me for details!

Where do AJP mentoring sessions take place? Sessions will take place at a restaurant in the DC/Northern VA area or in Harrisonburg!

I’m a beginner. Can I schedule a One on One to learn how to use my DSLR? Absolutely!

Nothing is off limits and we can cover anything you like! For more details and pricing, email me at angelikajohnsphotography@gmail.com and we can set something up 🙂

BEHIND THE LENS

MEET ANGELIKA

I love finding beauty in unconventional places. I always have.

As a young girl, I started playing around with my family's point-and-shoot camera. And I spent much of my free time looking for beauty in unconventional places. What started as a hobby eventually became a career. And 10 years later, my quest remains the same: To capture the beauty within—and around— us all. With warmth, kindness, and a refined, creative eye.
