This flowy dress, a model who was down to get creative, and the last of the fall leaves made this session one for the books. My sessions turn out the best when I’m working with people who trust me and are receptive and excited to ideas, which was Lisa in a nutshell. As Lisa put it during the session, “I’m here for the art,” which I loved to hear. Hoping to work with some folks as rad and artistic as this gal in the future!

As a young girl, I started playing around with my family's point-and-shoot camera. And I spent much of my free time looking for beauty in unconventional places. What started as a hobby eventually became a career. And 10 years later, my quest remains the same: To capture the beauty within—and around— us all. With warmth, kindness, and a refined, creative eye.
