Elaine and Justin’s fall wedding at Rocklands Farm in Maryland brought together one of my favorite aspects of photography: people. A little over three years ago, I second shot Elaine’s sister’s wedding at Glenview Mansion, so it was wonderful getting to see their family and friends again three years later. Witnessing couples that were still so in love and families that had grown since her sister’s wedding three years prior reminded me how special it is to be invited to be a part of such a significant day in each family’s history. Elaine and Justin also had a fun group of people surrounding them. Some of my favorite small moments included watching groomsman Kevin herd sheep behind the bride and groom with a wine glass in hand so the sheep would be behind them for their portraits, watching one of the camera-shy flower girls run down the aisle with her hand over her face, and seeing grandma kick it on the dance floor. Thank you for having me at your wedding Elaine and Justin, it was an honor!
