Care + Excitement + Preparation + Trust

The texts I sent out while I was on my way home from shooting with Sloan varied from “Omg this GIRL” to “That shoot was friekin amazing.” I literally gushed all my good feels about Sloan to anyone who would listen after coming home – it was that good. Despite having lots of traffic delays as we drove around, this shoot was a favorite because of care, excitement, preparation, trust, and good vibes that Sloan showed throughout.

These have been the overarching qualities that have lead to my favorite clients and the best shoots, and this is what Sloan and this session had. Sloan cared and was so excited about her session that she went shopping and prepared her outfits WEEKS in advance (can we just talk about her cool style?!). She also went to get professional hair and makeup done so that her shoot could be the best it could be. Throughout the entire shoot, she was so go with the flow, trusting my judgement calls for every shot. This is when the magic happens. 

I’m so glad that this wasn’t the last shoot for Sloan and I. We’re actually planning a SECOND shoot so that we can get all the looks that Sloan wants for her senior photos and I’m SO excited!! I can’t wait to see where this girl goes with her singing and music passion, and love that she is pursuing her dream!!
