It’s been a MINUTE since I last blogged. There are dozens of beautiful sessions and weddings waiting on my hard drives to be seen, and I cannot wait to get the ball rolling and show everything soon!
No better way to kick off the revival of my blog than to share one of my best friend’s engagement session. Becky and I met my freshman year of college and ended up rooming together for three years. She is one of my closest friends, and I can’t imagine my college experience and life without her. I met Collin sophomore year when Becky and him were introduced. I still remember us gushing about him in our PJ’s at our apartment at night. About four years later, here they are ENGAGED! I knew about the upcoming engagement a few months before they shared publicly – it was so tough to keep it a secret. They ended up announcing with these photos, and I couldn’t be more honored.
For their fall engagement session, we went to The Yards Park and the Wharf in Washington, DC. Becky and Collin are big foodies and love donuts, so we started with some treats from District Donuts at the Wharf before exploring the rest of the area. We ended with a gorgeous sunset at the Yards Pedestrian Bridge, which ended up being my favorite spot for photos. The light was unmatched there!
Congrats again Becky and Collin! Love you both and I couldn’t be more excited for you.
