Mariah and I met at the Governor’s School for Visual Arts Summer Residential Program a few weeks ago, so I was thrilled that I would get to see her again when she emailed me about a sibling shoot! Mariah is an amazing artist, and I can’t wait to see how successful she will be in the future. Her and her brother, David, are about three years apart. Here are a few of the pictures we took at their session, enjoy!

As a young girl, I started playing around with my family's point-and-shoot camera. And I spent much of my free time looking for beauty in unconventional places. What started as a hobby eventually became a career. And 10 years later, my quest remains the same: To capture the beauty within—and around— us all. With warmth, kindness, and a refined, creative eye.
