After Michelle emailed me inquiring for a senior session and we started talking a bit, I was immediately so impressed and awed by this girl! Not only is she the sweetest, but she is so hardworking and driven. After debate team became one of her most passionate activities, she started The Speak Up Initiative, a nonprofit organization that brings public speaking workshops to inner-city schools in DC. It’s doing so well that there are already different branches forming all over the country! At the same time, Michelle is so humble about all that she is doing and has such a selfless heart with all the right intentions for the project. It was an honor to work with you Michelle!! I wish you the best of luck at Swarthmore this fall 🙂
